Emerging Futures, LLC has been chosen as a semi-finalist in the Mars Society's 2019 Mars Colony Prize contest! We are among 25 international teams selected out of 100 entrants by a two-judge panel. Semi-finalists will now be evaluated by ten judges in order to select 8-10 finalists, who will be invited to present their concepts in person at the Mars Society Convention at the University of Southern California in October 2019. We are keeping our fingers crossed that we are selected, but regardless, the process of researching and writing our proposal was a positive educational process that we plan to use of in future work, regardless of outcome.
